I wouldn’t have bothered taking a breath.

I would have slept for the rest of my life.

Seventeen SecondsAn overwhelming feeling of depression swarmed through her mind as she sat in front of the window. Rain gently hit the side of her window, slipping down like tears on a cheek. Her pale green eyes slid back and forth over the tiles upon her floor before lifting them back up and gazing out towards the black sky. She took in a deep breath, her mind settling back into the vast emptiness that had succumbed in her dreams. Her hands slid down along the edge of the couch that she sat upon, her fingers dancing along the fabric as she began to twirl a small black string around her index finger.   
 Tears started to form at the corners of Seventeen Seconds

A life lostNone stop screaming in her ears,  Someone telling her she was worthless and hoped she'd die.  A father gone and the pain havocking through her mind.  A mother treating her daughter as a slave,  Never amounting to anything the girl wished.  
Her dreams shattered,  And hope lost.  
 
Friends telling her that it will be alright,  Thinking that this was all a lie.  They look at her as if she just wanted drama,  But behind the clothes she wore, and in her eyes..  Bared pain and the hurt of the words her mother said.  Teachers trying to make things better by telling her she only has 2 A life lost

Hey guys.

I'm now in a band with my friends from school, and we're pretty psyched about it. We've got a drummer, a singer, a bassist, and me - the guitarist.

Now for a stage name.
"Alice Jane" is already taken.
I was thinking "Nyxi Jane" ...what do you think? I like it, and so does one of my friends (Caroline).

Oh, and I'm in a Creative Writing class now, so I write something every day. I'll try to post them all!

And also, I don't know why, but the output jack on my guitar is being wonky. So I need to get that fixed... (/notetoself)
